It gives us great pleasure to share with you a little bit about our history. Tirelire was built in 1975 by three different families; The Dols, The Albers and The van der Veldens. The chalet holds many wonderful memories of all parents, siblings and friends who have visited it since its construction.
When the chalet was built, Châtel was a little French mountain village and Tirelire was one of the only chalets on this mountain slope. As a result the chalet is quite well known in the village. Super Châtel consisted of only four drag lifts and the Linga area had only two. A lot has changed since that time, as the French/Swiss 'Portes-du-Soleil' area is now one of the most extensive linked ski domains in the world..
As a result, Châtel is a wonderful place to visit both in winter- and summertime. Positioned in the heart of the ‘Portes-du-Soleil’ area, Chalet Tirelire gives a very welcoming shelter to adventurers.
We would like to share this family tradition with you, sports enthusiasts and lovers of nature. Whenever it is with friends our family, summer- or wintertime, key-points are enjoying our surroundings with the luxury of having a own chalet
So from now on, we are completely open for adventurous companies. All we have to offer is a fantastic spot,
built with love for our families and nature.
